Tuticorin: In the Tuticorin district, under the Ottapidaram police station’s jurisdiction, Assistant Inspector of Police, Mr. Muthuraja, provided instructions and raised awareness. A temple donation ceremony took place at Sri Kaliamman temple in Kulasekaranallur village, also within the Ottapidaram police station limits. On the occasion of this festival on July 30, 2023, a cricket match was organized for the temple.
During the event, Assistant Inspector Muthuraja advised the participating youth to reduce cell phone usage and engage in physical activities like kabaddi and cricket to maintain their health. He also motivated the players by presenting jerseys to the 17 participants in the tournament. The District Superintendent of Police, Dr. L. Balaji Saravanan IPS, appreciated Mr. Muthuraja for his efforts in raising awareness among the youth.
