CHENNAI: The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) seized two kilograms of brown sugar from two Colombo-bound passengers at the Chennai airport here today. According to airport officials two men were intercepted by a team of DRI officials on suspicion after they arrived at the airport to board a flight to Sri Lanka. The DRI sleuths found the contraband concealed in their baggage. The officials seized the narcotic substance from the two, one hailing from Devakottai in Sivaganga district and another from here were being questioned, airport official said. The two are expected to be handed over to anti-narcotics authorities for further action. ]]>
