Tiruvallur: Ponneri Taluk in Tiruvallur district is in the village Panchayat Union. there are frequent accidents on the Ponneri Thiruvottiyur highway which is under this panchayat. Following this, the Konekarai panchayat and the Reliance company have established an automatic traffic signal and CCTV surveillance camera through the Social Development Development Fund.
The Additional Superintendent of Police, Mr. Pawan Kumar Reddy, IPS, officer (Training) Mr. Adarbasera and the president of the Konakarai Panchayat Council Manoharan and VicePresident Harikrishna inaugurated the automatic traffic signal and CCTV surveillance camera functioning.
The Additional Superintendent of Police, Mr. Pawan Kumar Reddy, said that a signal and CCTV camera have been installed to prevent frequent accidents in the area and to find out the incidents of theft. He also informed the people who went to the Mofussil were informed at a nearby police station and asked them to go.
