<![CDATA[Udhagamandalam: The admiration of the local residents has been won by two Sub-Inspectors in Udhagamandalam with their talent and ability for designing attractive awareness posters and videos. The two Sub-Inspector Mr. K. Anandhraj and Mr. S. Sujith Kumar who are attached to the Ooty Rural Police, and the Ooty Town Police, have designed a number of awareness posters on various police mobile applications. A few applications are the Kavalan SOS App, safety tips for Deepavali and accident prevention. Mr. Anandhraj said recently work was on for creating awareness about the Digilocker App,that can be used to store vehicle insurance and license digitally, and can avoid carring original documents. Both Sub Inspectors Mr. Anandhraj and Mr. Sujith Kumar have been involving themselves in working on poster designing for over a year, and in their free time had learned to use editing and designing software. Mr. Anandhraj said that he began initially designing handbills and posters when he was posted in Gobichettipalayam in Erode district, and kept improvising on his designs since then. The awareness video for Deepavali released recently was designed with simple phone editor software. Mr. Sujith Kumar said as many as 27 Sub-Inspectors are from the 2016 batch that have been posted in the Nilgiris District. Of them 20 Sub Inspectors are engineering graduates and have joined the force just out of passion to serve the society. ]]>
