Sukma, Chhattisgarh: In a major boost to peace efforts, 20 Naxalites, including several carrying a collective bounty of ₹33 lakh, surrendered before the police in Sukma. The surrender comes as a result of the State Government’s “Niyad Nellanar” rehabilitation scheme and the sustained outreach and vigilance of the police in the region.
Police officials praised the move as a significant step towards restoring normalcy and ensuring security in Sukma district.
