<![CDATA[Chennai: The Madhavaram All Women police, on the complaint filed by the girl’s mother arrested the girl’s brother on charges of raping his sister and making her pregnant. According to the police, the 14-year-old girl recently complained of stomach pain and was rushed to a government hospital. On examining her the doctors said that she was five months pregnant. A police officer said that an abortion was done and the hospital sources informed the Madhavaram police. On conducting an inquiry with the girl it was found that the girl’s own brother aged 21 had raped her, he added. The arrest was made under the POCSO Act. ]]>
