Hyderabad, Telangana: Police held coordination meetings with the organizers of Ganesh pandals within the limits of Uppal, Nagole, and Neredmet police stations to ensure the upcoming Ganesh festival is conducted peacefully and safely. Organizers were advised to identify and resolve potential issues in advance of the festivities. They emphasized the need to focus on pre-identified issues along the Ganesh immersion procession routes and to take necessary measures in coordination with relevant departments. Various guidelines were issued regarding fire safety, electrical safety, sanitation, CCTV surveillance, crowd control, traffic management, and the maintenance of law and order at the pandals. Additionally, awareness was created regarding the ‘Dos and Don’ts’ that organizers and devotees must strictly follow during the festival and immersion processions. Organizers were urged to cooperate with the police and prioritize devotion, responsibility, and safety. The police called for collective cooperation to ensure the successful conduct of the Ganesh festival.
