Chennai: The Mumbai attacks on November 26, 2008, were 11 shootings and bombings by terrorists in India’s largest city, Mumbai. 164 people, including Police personnel, were killed.
In honour of the heroic deaths of the police, the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Mr Magimai Veeran, along with the News Media Association of India and Police News Plus hosted a lunch for the elderly at the Brindavanam Elders Home. Tens of thousands of valuable cleaning products were provided to keep the elders home neat and clean to live without the disease.
Attending the event, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Mr.Magimai Veeran, who was elderly, went to the room and provided food to the elderly. When the elderly saw the love and humbleness of the Assistant Commissioner of Police Mr.Magimai Veeran, they were the heart felt and congratulated him.
According to the instructions of the News Media Association of India, National President and Police News Plus Cheif Editor Mr A Charles, the event was organized by South Chennai Press Secretary and Police News Citizen Reporter Mohammed Moosa and the team.
