Bengaluru :A separate seating system has been provided for the elite, and other public who come to witness the Independence Day programme. In case of any natural calamity, adequate number of ambulances, medical and non-medical personnel have been deployed and many hospitals in the city have been identified and sufficient number of beds have been reserved. Bangalore City Police Commissioner B. Dayananda said that heavy police deployment has been made in the city for the Independence Day celebrations. More than 1,000 police personnel have been deployed for security. He said that 56 camera personnel have been assigned for surveillance duty.
100 CC camera system and 3 baggage scanners, 20 DFMD and 40 H for security and safety around the grounds. HMDs have been installed and systematic traffic control systems have been made. Sufficient personnel with fire tenders are deployed to deal with accidental fire incidents.
Everyone arriving at the event must have a pass and an ID card. It is prohibited to bring any other items except purses and mobiles to the event. He appealed to the people arriving at the program to cooperate with the police for security checks.
