Bhopal: On May 12, a group of 36 trainee sub-inspectors from the Police Training Academy in Bhori visited the State Level Police Control Room Dial-112/100 in Bhopal. The visit was intended to provide the trainees with firsthand knowledge of the Dial-112/100 service and to enhance their understanding of the response mechanism.
During their visit, the trainees were given a tour of the call taker and dispatcher rooms and were provided with detailed information about the service. The Dial-112/100 team explained the action to be taken on the information received and shared their experiences with the trainees. The team also demonstrated how the response mechanism works and how the team handles emergency situations.
In addition, the trainees were addressed by Deputy Inspector General of Police (Narcotics) Mr. Amit Singh, who gave them suggestions on maintaining public order and shared his experiences with them. He emphasized the importance of establishing a dialogue with the general public of the area to instill faith in them towards police activism and law and order. The trainees were encouraged to prioritize public safety and maintain their commitment to duty.
After the tour, the trainees were presented with mementos in recognition of their visit. The tour was attended by Deputy Superintendent of Police (Radio) Mr. SK Gupta, Uni (Radio) Mr. Gajendra Singh, and other police officers. The visit to the Dial-112/100 Control Room was a valuable experience for the trainee sub-inspectors as it provided them with a better understanding of the service and its response mechanism, which will help them in their future endeavors as law enforcement officers.
