Chennai, Tamil Nadu: In a major boost to public safety services, appointment orders were issued to 750 newly selected candidates in the Police and Fire Services at a function organized by the Police Department at the Anna Centenary Library Auditorium, Kotturpuram, on Tuesday.
The appointment orders were presented by the Honourable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thiru M.K. Stalin, to candidates selected through the Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board (TNUSRB). Among them, 621 were appointed as Sub-Inspectors of Police, while 129 were appointed as Fire Service Station Officers.
After distributing the appointment orders, the Chief Minister interacted with the newly recruited personnel and posed for a group photograph, marking a memorable moment for the candidates and their families.
The event served as a source of motivation and encouragement for young recruits, who are set to begin their careers in public service, contributing to law enforcement, fire safety, and disaster response across the state.
