Prakasam: The Prakasam district Superintendent of Police (SP) Mr. Siddhartha Kaushal, IPS and the Prakasam police officers are visiting the villages as part of the prerequisites.
Prakasam police are undertaking election awareness campaigns that are aiming at ‘peace and order’ which is getting a huge good response from the public. On the directions of SP Prakasam Mr. Siddharth Kaushal, IPS., in a bid to elevate awareness among people to prevent untoward incidents in the democratic process. Under the guidance of Superintendent of Police (SP) Prakasam, all the Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO)/ Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Circle Inspectors (Cis), Station House Officers(SHO)/Sub-Inspectors(SI) in the district Prakasam are indulging in the campaign for sensitizing voters in different corners of the district, as the local body elections are round. Police teams are focused on sensitive and hypersensitive areas in the district to avoid violence and to prevent untoward incidents and for conducting free and fair smooth elections in the district.
