Darbhanga: Darbhanga is a Municipal Corporation in the state of Bihar. It is the 6th largest city of Bihar, only after Patna, Gaya, Bhagalpur, Muzaffarpur, Bihar sharif. It is the headquarters of the Darbhanga district and the Darbhanga division and was the seat of the Raj Darbhanga and capital of the Mithila region.
The Darbhanga District Police was conducting an Anti-Liquor Campaign and during the campaign, the police received a discreet piece of information about a consignment of foreign liquor. Acting instantly on the discreet information during the Anti-Liquor campaign, the Darbhanga District Police seized a total of 428 liters of foreign liquor from the Manigachhi police station area.
