Andhra Pradesh: The Andhra Pradesh Police once again stood 1st in the Country with 48 SKOCH AWARDS out of 83 across the country. In addition, the Andhra Pradesh Police gained 2 GOLD and 11 Silver Awards in the 67th SKOCH Summit on 28.10.2020.
These awards are benchmarking the best practices in the usage of Technology and Innovation towards effective and efficient public service delivery, bringing in transformational change in society and governance with accountability and transparency which are fundamentals of a democratic system.
The DGP Mr. D. Gautum Sawang IPS received the SKOCH AWARD for Disha Mobile Application and he said we are proud of the unprecedented achievement and recognition at the national stage. It only demonstrates our commitment and dedication towards better services to the society, citizens of Andhra Pradesh, and our Nation.
The DGP said we are grateful to Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy for the constant guidance and direction, and the express mandate we are inspired to fulfill wholeheartedly.
