Cyberabad: The Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad Mr. V.C. Sajjanar IPS flags off 12 Clues Team & Fingerprint Unit vehicles along with equipment. 9 Clues Team & 3 Fingerprint Units have been established in Cyberabad.
Today on 06.11.2020 Commissioner Of Police, Cyberabad Mr. V.C. Sajjanar IPS., launched 9 divisional level Clues Team and 3 Fingerprint Units. The Cyberabad CP Mr. V.C. Sajjanar IPS flags off 12 Clues Team & Fingerprint Unit vehicles along with equipment at Cyberabad CP Office in the presence of all DCP’s, ADCP’s, ACP’s, Inspectors, and other Officers.
The Cyberabad Commissioner of Police said., for improving the quality in the collection of scientific clues from the scene of offense and to reach the scene of offense at a faster rate in order to preserve and collect the crucial clues which will aid in scientific investigation thereby conviction. The clues team and fingerprint teams will play a crucial role in the scientific investigation and also better conviction rates in the future.
Previously three Zonal Clues Teams are functioning in Cyberabad Commissionerate Limits which consists of Madhapur Zone, Balanagar Zone, and Shamshabad Zone. Nine Divisional level CLUES Team are establishing in Cyberabad Commissionerate which consists of Madhapur Division, Miyapur Division, Kukatpally Division, Pet-Basheerabad Division, Balanagar Division, Shamshabad Division, Rajendranagar Division, Chevella Division, and Shadnagar Division.
Previously one Fingerprint Unit was functioning in the entire Cyberabad. Now it has been upgraded to 3 Fingerprint Units in Cyberabad.
Each clues team consists of 4 crime scene officers who are forensic experts, 2 photographers cum videographer, and 2 drivers and they work 24*7 in 12-hour shifts.
Each fingerprint unit consists of one fingerprint expert, 4 police constables trained in fingerprint lifting, and others works related to it, and 2 drivers who will be working 24*7 in 12-hour shift.
All the Clues Team works under concerned Sub-divisional ACP’s and All Fingerprint Unit works under concerned Zonal wise DCP’s.
The equipment providing for the 9 Clues Team are Crime Scene Cordoning kit, Digital Camera, General Crime Scene Kit, Body Fluid Collection Kit, Computer, Printer, etc. he added.
