Rachakonda: On 05.01 2021 evening on receipt of credible information, the team of SOT LB Nagar team of Rachakonda Commissionerate raided on a gaming den i.e. farmhouse belongs to one Vanam Govardhan Reddy (A-1) located near Narayana College, Kongara Kalan village of Ibrahimpatnam Mandal under the limits of Adibatla Police Station and apprehended (11) accused who were found playing the illegal gaming by betting money, and seized net cash Rs.1.87,000/-, 19 Mobile phones and (4) vehicles i.e. Toyota Fortuner, Skoda, Maruthi Swift, and Maruthi-s Cross.
A case was registered with CR.NO.07/2021 U/S 3 and 4 of Gaming Act 1974 of Adibatla Police Station of Rachakonda Police Commissionerate.
The Details of the accused persons are as follows:
- Vanam Govardhan Reddy s/o Malla Reddy, age; 56 years, R/o Karmanghat, Hyderabad (Organizer cum owner of the farmhouse)
2. Chira Narender s/o Agamaiah, age; 56 years, R/o Karmanghat, Hyderabad.
- Singireddy Devender Reddy s/o Malla Reddy, age; 49 years. R/o Chandryangutta, Hyderabad.
- Pasula Hanmanthu Reddy s/o Sukumar Reddy, age: 34 years. R/o Papi Reddy Nagar, Jagathgirigutta, Bal Nagar, Hyderabad.
- Konda Mutyam Reddy s/o Janga Reddy, age: 40 years, R/O SIN Colony, Meerpet, Hyderabad
- Chowlapally Ananth Reddy s/o Kishta Reddy, age; 45 years, R/o Hasthinapuram, Hyderabad.
- Ralaguda Kondal Reddy s/o Bal Reddy, age, 53 years, Flat No.37, Vaishali Nagar. Champapet. Hyderabad.
- Alampally Srinivas s/o Venkatesh, age: 52 years. Flat No.57. Karmanghat, Hyderabad.
- Domakonda Ramesh Kumar s/o Laxmaiah, H.No.8-4-17/82, Sairam Nagar, Chamapet, Hyderabad.
10.Cheera Venugopal s/o Jangaiah age: 50 years, H.No.8-2-153, Karmanghat, Hyderabad.
11.Alimela Venkat Reddy s/o Ramchandra Reddy, age: 56 years. R/o Anji Reddy colony, Karmanghat.
The Seizures made by the police are as follows:

5) Skoda car bearing no.AP-10-BB-0847.
6) Maruthi Swift car bearing no IS-07-FR-8988,
7) Maruthi S.Cross car bearing no.TS-08-EU-1717
For some days, the A-1 Vanam Govardhan Reddy s/o Malla Reddy has been running a gaming den at his farmhouse located near Narayana College, Kongara Kalan village of Ibrahimpatnam Mandal under the limits of Adibatla PS by gathering the interested people from different areas in Hyderabad City in order to earn easy money. Thus, yesterday i.e. on 05.01.2021 also, he gathered the interested people including the A-2 to A-11 as noted above, and allowed them for playing the gaming three card game illegally within the premises of his farmhouse by betting money.
On receipt of reliable information, yesterday i.e. on 05.01.2021 at evening hours, the team of SOT LB Nagar headed by Mr. T.Ravi Kumar Inspector of Police raided on the above gaming den and apprehended the accused person A-1 to A-11 with the help of Adibatla Police and seized the property as mentioned above.
The above arrests were made under the supervision of Mr. Mahesh M Bhagwat, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda Commissionerate. Sri G.Sudheer Babu, IPS. Additional Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda under the direct guidance of Mr. J.Surender Reddy, Addl. Dy.
