Andhra Pradesh: The SP CTR Mr. S.Senthil Kumar IPS conducted a press meet on the recovery of 405 mobile phones by TAW (Technical Analysis Wing) team at AR Parade grounds, Chittoor. Due to the efforts of the police so far 682 mobile phones worth Rs.1 Crore were recovered.
Under Operation Muskaan the Andhra Pradesh Police had successfully traced and found a large number of children. Out of the children that were traced under Operation Muskaan, 8724 children were returned to their families, 12 children were sent to child care institutions and 3 children were sent to COVID-19 care homes.
In the year 2020 Operation Muskaan had rescued more than 25000 shelterless children out of which 402 were re-identified in this 2021 Operation Muskaan.
