Rachakonda: In an effort to root out organized human trafficking network within the limits of Commissionerate and to create a sense of safety and security among the family system, College going students, and youth not to fall into trafficking network, C.P. Rachakonda invoked the PD Act against one of the human trafficking offender for organizing prostitution in the limits of Chaithanyapuri Police Station of Rachakonda Commissionerate and detained him in Central Prison, Cherlapally on 26-05-2021.
The accused Mittapalli Ram Prasad along with his associates used to post girls nude photos on the “LOCANTO” website with their phone numbers offering online and offline women companionship in obscene poses for their wrongful gains. The accused/proposed detenu Mittapalli Ram Prasad and his associates 1) Gopi Krishna alias Vamshi, 2) Allani Shyam, 3) Manarthi Vignesh alias Vicky alias Vignesh Reddy are exploiting women who were very poor or not having family members, deserted lonely ladies, poor laborers, women under severe depression and inducing them with high return of income and trafficking, forcing them into prostitution and thereby victimizing them who were already victimized in their life tenure. Thus, the poor and gullible women are forced to live in a feeling of insecurity in the hands of these unscrupulous immoral traffic offenders.
Earlier, the accused Mittapalli Ram Prasad was involved in (03) similar offenses of human trafficking for the sake of prostitution, running brothel houses in Rachakonda & Hyderabad Commissionerates.
Even though he was earlier arrested by Police, remanded to judicial custody, and facing trial by Court, he could not mend his attitude, way of life and resorted to indulging in similar activities of immoral trafficking.
On tip-off information, Chaithanyapuri Police raided the house at Saisadan Apartments, Road No: 14, Alkapuri, Chaithanyapuri on 06-03-2021 and arrested the accused Mittapalli Ram Prasad, his associates and rescued (04) victim women, hailed from West Bengal, Maharastra, and the AP States and sent them to rescue home. The arrested accused was remanded to judicial custody.
With a view to prevent them from indulging in the Immoral trafficking business and to preserve public order, Sri Mahesh M Bhagwat, Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda invoked PD Act one of the offenders today i.e on 26-05-2021 and lodged him in Central Prison, Cherlapally.
The details of the offender are as follows: Mittapalli Ram Prasad S/o Chandraiah, aged: 48 years, R/o HNo: 11-10-78, SBI Colony, Kothapet, Ranga Reddy Dist, N/o Machavaram Village of Kallooru Khammam Dist. Mandal.
