Tirupati: In Tirupati city, silencers and horns have been exchanged for bullet vehicles and arranged to make more noise and thus causing noise pollution. The Traffic Police conducted special drives in the city on these and spotted high noise bullets. These silencers were seized by the Police. The seized silencers were dumped by a road roller.
Over the past few days in the city, the traffic has detected vehicles making more than 65 decibels of noise for bullet vehicles. Youth, college students are harassing people by marching silencers from showrooms to bikes for fashions. It would be a transgression against the motor vehicle law. The Police said that silencers shouldn’t be installed in such a way that excessive doses of noise are being emitted. It’s because of the high noise pollution that makes people panic on the road. And those in the residential area are facing very disturbing weather.
The Traffic Police seized a lot of high noise bikes as part of the special drive. The drivers were also given a chance to change the silencers. The Police said there is no point in leaving such people wherever they drive vehicles in the entire district. There are many hospitals, schools, temples, and important places around us. This high noise causes a disturbance, as the register does not change the silencers in the vehicle. The Police asked the parents to also observe and take responsibility not to gossip.
