Jaipur: Traditionally, the festival of Hariyali Teej is dedicated to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, who is often called the Teej Mata. In some parts of India, they also get together and listen to Katha or folklore of Shiva and Parvati. There are two other Teej festivals celebrated in Sawan apart from the Haryali Teej.
Teej Mahotsav was celebrated with gaiety in Rajasthan Police Academy on 11.08.2021. On this occasion, Mrs. Suman Lather, wife of Mr. ML Lather IPS, Director General of Police Rajasthan, and President, The Rajasthan Police Men’s Family Welfare Society was the chief guest.
