Chikkamagaluru: The Chikkamagaluru SP Mr. Hakay Akshay Machindra IPS said two main accused in the fake note case of Altur police station have been arrested. An estimated 50 lakhs were taken away by the accused in 2019 in Shimoga. The discovery of a very ancient gem (Cat-Eye) worth Rs 1 crore. An accused has previously been involved in a case of assault on a journalist in the Dakshina Kannada district. The accused is understood to be involved in prostitution, robbery & extortion. The investigation is in progress. The reward for the police team has been announced by IGP, West Zone, and Mangalore.
