Keesara Police arrested two Human Traffickers and rescued the victim

Rachakonda: Today Keesara Police remanded two habitual traffickers who are indulging in human trafficking and rescued 34 years old Bangladeshi victims. Both the accused were sent for judicial remand and the victim has been shifted to Shelter Home.

On 07.11.2020 on credible information about running a brothel house at TPS Colony, Godumakunta, Mr. J. Narender Goud Inspector of Police, Keesara Mr. Jagan Reddy S1 of Keesara and along with their staff conducted raid over the Brothel House and arrested two organizers and from their instance seized one car,3 mobile phones and Rs.4000/- net cash besides rescued one Bangladeshi victim from their custody, who actually landed to India last month on her health grounds and later got caught in the clutches of human traffickers. A case was registered at Keesara Police Station and the investigation was done by Inspector Mr. Narender Goud.

The accused, Kashupaka Kumara Swamy who had been arrested previously by the CID in Human trafficking case has been running a brothel house in TPS Colony, Godumakunta with the help of  Edula Aruna Kumari Patro. Previously she had worked with him and in 2019 and she was also arrested in a similar case by the Medipally police. Kashupaka Kumara Swamy used to bring the women from the agents from Mumbai and other places for the purpose of prostitution and was providing shelter at TPS Colony house; he is utilizing WhatsApp for bookings and collecting payments through digital payment modes like Phonepe and Google pay. After booking Kashupaka Kumara Swamy has been dropping the engaged women at Customer place and later picking them and returning them to TPS Colony. Sometimes they call the customers to their room also. He is earning around Rs.5.000/- to 10,000/- on each girl. Sharing the amount to Brokers and to Edula Aruna Kumari Patro.  Some of the brokers who have been engaged in this heinous business have good relations with Kashupaka Kumara Swamy. On his request, they are sending the victims here and later shifting to different places.

The Victim Woman is a native of Dhaka of Bangladesh. As she has been suffering from some health problems in the month of October she came to Kolkata and there she came in touch with a broker who motivated her to become a sex worker. Two days ago her agent Nani brought her to Hyderabad where she met Kashupaka Kumara Swamy and for the last 2 days, she had been staying along with Aruna Kumari. Yesterday while she along with Aruna and Kumara Swamy were ready to proceed to Boduppal to attend to customers. Keesara police conducted a raid and took them into their custody.

The above arrests were made under the supervision of Mr. Mahesh M Bhagwat. IPS. Commissioner of Police. Rachakonda Commissionerate. Mr. Sudheer Babu. Additional Commissioner of Police. Mrs. Rakshitha Krishna Murthy, IPS. Deputy Commissioner of Police. Malkajgiri Zone, under the direct guidance of Mr. Shanker l/c ACP Kushaiguda Division by Mr. J. Narender Goud, Inspector of Police Mr. Jagan Reddy. SI of Police. Beekya Naik, ASI and the Staff of Keesara Police Station. The Superior officers appreciated the good work done by the Keesara Police.
