East Godavari: All District Collectors and District SPs today were briefed by the State Chief Electoral Officer on the conduct of local elections. East Godavari District SP Mr. M. Rabindranath Babu, IPS attended the video conference review meeting with the SPs.
The District SP at the meeting said that all the areas where elections will be held in the district will be held in advance. Three-tier security will be set up and all security standards will be adhered to, for peace. He said that strong security arrangements have been made to ensure the smooth conduct of elections without any hindrance.
