Pauri Garhwal: A surprise inspection of police station Paithani was done by Mrs. P Renuka Devi, IPS, Senior Superintendent of Police on 29.12.2021. At first, the salute was taken by the SP. After that, she visited the police station premises, took stock of the cleanliness, the records kept in the police station offices were checked and barricades, mess, computer room, CCTNS, CCTV cameras, computer equipment, etc. were inspected.
The SP received the complaints of the people of Paithani and their speedy disposal was directed as per rules, to continue the women related awareness campaign and to make the general public aware in view of the increasing spread of COVID-19 variant of Omicron, and to strictly follow the guidelines issued by the state government.
The SP also made a surprise inspection of the newly constructed building of police station Paithani. After the surprise inspection Mr. Sunil Upreti, JE of the Irrigation Department, was directed to complete the work of the newly constructed police station immediately by speeding up the ongoing works of the police station building.
The SP met with dignitaries such as traders, senior citizens, drivers, CLGs in the police station premises. Meetings were held with members and village watchmen. First of all, after getting the introduction of everyone present in the meeting, Mrs. P Renuka Devi, IPS was attracted on the following points:-At present, in view of the increasing outbreak of Omicron variant of COVID-19, visitors/tourists were told to regularly encourage social distancing and wearing masks. By giving information about the new guidelines of COVID-19, it was inspired to follow the COVID curfew from 11:00 pm to 5:00 am.
Nowadays the fog is more in the hilly areas, while driving regularly, other people were motivated to make them aware by using fog lights in the vehicles. In this regard, the district police are also constantly being made aware through social media platforms. In the present time, by creating an effective information system to check the increasing prevalence of drugs in society, information in this regard was motivated to be given to the district police. By giving detailed information regarding cyber, women-related, and other crimes, other people were also motivated to make them aware. In respect of any complaint, the public was prompted to call the emergency number Dial-112.
