Rachakonda: On 27.12.2021 between 7.20 pm and 8 pm in the temporary absence of Mr. Jaligam Lingam, r/o Balajinagar, Ghatkesar (V & M) the House Breaking offenders entered the house of the victim by break opening the lock of the main door and committing theft of 28 tolas of gold ornaments and 18 tolas of silver ornaments from the almarh of the bedroom worth Rs.11, 20, 000/-. In this regard, the case was registered at Ghatkesar Police Station and the investigation was initiated.
During the investigation, the accused persons were apprehended on 29.12.2021 at 8 am near Ghatkesar bus stand when they were found in suspicious circumstances and revealed their details as follows and further confessed the offense reported in the present case. The accused are Dasari Venkanna (23), Mohammad Jaleel alias Naveed (21) both of Medchal-Malkajgiri District. The accused Dasari Venkanna earlier had involved himself in 2 cases of Ghatkesar Police Station, 1 case of Bibinagar Police Station, and 1 case of Gopalapuram Police Station, Hyderabad city. The accused Mohammad Jaleel alias Naveed earlier had involved himself in 1 case of S.R. Nagar Police Station, Hyderabad.
The Police made the recovery from the possession of accused Dasari Venkanna; Gold chain weighing 5 tolas, a Long-chain weighing 7 tolas, Black beads chain weighing 5 tolas, and Cash of Rs.760/-. The Police made the recovery from the possession of accused Mohammad Jaleel @ Naveed; Necklace weighing 4 tolas, Earring weighing 2 tolas, Necklace weighing 4 tolas, Earring weighing 1 tola, Silver bangles-6 weighing 85 grams, Chekkudu gutti weighing 50 grams, Big silver biscuit weighing 26 grams, and small silver biscuit weighing 18 grams.
The entire stolen property of 28 tulas of gold ornaments and 18 tulas of silver ornaments, cash of Rs.760/- all worth Rs.11,20,000/- was recovered from the accused persons. The offenders used the conveyance of Hero Pleasure motorcycle bearing registration No. AP 16BM-7875 and also mobile Phones Redmi 61 by Dasari Venkanna and Nokia keypad by Mohammad Jaleel alias Naveed at the time of committing the offense. Good work was done in detecting the case by Mr. N. Chandrababu, Inspector of Police, Mr. E. Jangaiah, Additional Inspector of Police, and SIS Mr. Ch. Sudhakar, Mr. J. Ashok Kumar, and their staff of Ghatkesar Police Station under the leadership of Mr. Mahesh M Bhagwat IPS, Commissioner of Police, and Mr. G Sudheer Babu IPS, Addi. Commissioner of Police Rachakonda and under supervision of Ms. Rakshitha, K. Murthy, IPS, Dy. Commissioner of Police, Malkajgiri Zone, Mr. N. Shyam Prasad Rao, ACP Malkajgiri Division.
