Keeping this in view, in order to curb women’s crimes in Gwalior, police has taken a step further and started Nirbhaya mobile on the occasion of New Year. Helpline number 7049110252 has also been issued for this. The vehicle rally of women policemen was inaugurated by Mr. Amit Sanghi IPS, Superintendent of Police, Gwalior. On this occasion APUA Mrs. Hitika Vasal, Mr. Rajesh Dandoutia, Mr. Satendra Singh Tomar, Mr. Jairaj Kuber, NAPU Dr. Rishikesh Meena, IPS, and other officers and employees of Gwalior Police were present.
Through this pink Nirbhaya mobile, those who molest women can be tightened by the police. Apart from crowded areas, this Pink Nirbhaya mobile will patrol schools, colleges, parks, and such places where there is a possibility of gathering mischievous elements. Only women police officers and employees of Gwalior Police will be deployed in this mobile so that better relations can be established with women and girls and they can openly tell their problems to the police. This unique effort made by Gwalior Police will provide more security to girl students and women and will play an important role in preventing crimes related to women and helping them quickly.
