Andhra Pradesh: The DGP and other senior IPS officers expressed happiness on the induction of 20 Andhra Pradesh Police Service officers including 4 women officers to the Indian Police Service and welcomed them. The DGP reminded them of the opportunity given to serve the nation and its citizens, keeping forefront in mind the weaker and vulnerable sections, common masses who need police the most in line with the mandate given by GOAP and vision of Hon’ble Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister.
The DGP mentioned that individually and collectively we should work to make a difference in the lives of the citizens. Make it easy for the needy to reach out and access police services and discharge duties and responsibilities with improved skills, professional competencies, and dedication.
The DGP urged the officers to always be mindful of the democratic principles and values enshrined in the Constitution and keep up the rich standards of AP Police cadre legacy and strive to work with pride and confidence towards rendering services to society. Newly inducted IPS officers extended their humble greetings and gratitude to Hon’ble Chief Minister and DGP and voiced that they will strive to keep up the spirit, code of conduct of IPS with commitment and dedication to meet the expectations and aspirations of people and serve the society in a most efficient manner.
