Rachakonda: On Monday, CP Mr. Mahesh M Bhagwat IPS has advised all the Police personnel who are infected with COVID to take additional precautions and strictly follow medication as prescribed by the doctors in a virtual conference held at Rachakonda Commissionerate, Neredmet. In the meeting, CP motivated everyone to get over quickly and advised them to be cautious about their health. CP reminded everyone about the sudden surge of Omicron cases and warned them to stay away from the family members while being on isolation period.
CP stated that having psychological strength is highly essential to conquer COVID besides using medicine and reminded that all the Police personnel who were infected with COVID in the 1st and 2nd waves of Pandemic got over it and joined duties. CP stated that Rachakonda Commissionerate is taking utmost care of the staff suffering from COVID and said that all the required assistance will be provided through doctors in addition to monitoring their health round the clock through COVID Control Room.
CP warned the staff to avoid gatherings at public places and strictly follow Sanitizer, Mask, and Social Distancing. CP reminded about the sudden surge of COVID positive cases and warned everyone to follow COVID guidelines as directed by the government. CP mentioned that precautionary booster dose vaccination drives are also launched for the police personnel and directed the staff to take their jab without fail. CP advised everybody to be aware of the new symptoms of Omicron and warned them to be cautious.
Speaking in the virtual meeting Addl. CP Mr. Sudheer Babu IPS have enquired about the health condition of the staff and advised them to use medicine as prescribed by the doctors. He uttered the importance of having psychological strength to get over COVID besides using medicine and advised them to add Vitamin-C to their daily diet. Besides offering moral support, Addl. CP also gave numerous useful instructions which help to recover from COVID quickly and uttered that all the initiatives are being taken to take care of the staff. He stated that the fatal effects of COVID have reached a level of very minimal and reminded that the isolation period is also confined to 7 days which was 14 days earlier.
Ms. C. Narmada, Addl. DCP admin motivated the staff and advised them to inform the unit doctors if anyone notices symptoms of any kind of illness. Dr. Saritha, RI Mr. Nagaraju Reddy, Estate Officer RI Mr. Ravinder also attended the virtual meeting.
