Hyderabad: Mr. Anjani Kumar IPS will be the interim DGP of Telangana. The current DGP Mr. Mahender Reddy IPS is going on medical leave. He will not be available until March 4 due to a minor injury to his left shoulder.
The state government has handed over full additional responsibilities to former Hyderabad Police Commissioner Mr. Anjani Kumar IPS in his place. He was recently appointed ACB DJ. It is learned that Mr. CV Anand has taken over as Hyderabad CP. Following the departure of the Telangana Police boss on medical leave, Mr. Anjani Kumar IPS will assume additional responsibilities as DGP for a total of 15 days.
