Siliguri: It is our continuous attempt to remodel the police stations to make them more clean, hygienic and citizen friendly. One such attempt has been made at New Jalpaiguri Police Station. Following initiatives have been taken: Cleaning of campus with tiling of floor, Citizen friendly Investigating Officers room, Officers Barrack.
Today, on 07.3.22, these units were inaugurated by Mr. Gaurav Sharma, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Siliguri, in the presence of other Senior Police Officers.
These facilities will provide professional work environment to the police personnel and ensure provision of citizen friendly services. Also, 42 stolen/missing mobile phones of NJP area were returned to their rightful owners. We are committed in providing good services to our citizens along with welfare of our police personnel.
