Kolkata: On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Commissioner of Police, Mr. Vineet Kumar Goyal IPS today launched two tableaux from Lalbazar to mark the start of Tejaswini, a special initiative of Kolkata Police. Under this initiative, women aged between 12 and 45 are trained in unarmed self-defense by our martial arts experts. The current edition of Tejaswini will be held from March 11 to 21, and the tableaux will do the rounds of the city all day today.
