Indore: Police Commissioner Mr. Harinarayan Chari Mishra and Additional Commissioner of Police Indore (City) Mr. Manish Kapuria have directed Indore Police to trace property related crimes, vehicle theft and cash-related crimes.
In line with these instructions, under the guidance of Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime) Mr. Rajesh Hingankar, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime Branch) Mr. Nimish Agrawal and Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime Branch) Mr. Guru Prasad Parashar led Crime Branch and Thana Malharganj Police Station. The joint team has succeeded in arresting two vicious vehicle thieves. Along with this, four stolen motorcycles have also been recovered by the police.
The crime branch team had received information that in Malharganj area, two persons were trying to sell stolen motor cycles. Acting on the information, Crime Branch team and Thane Malharganj police, while taking siege at the place mentioned by the informer, Rahim Khan alias Nonu son of Kallu Khan age 22 years resident of Chandan Nagar Indore and Shahrukh alias Sonu Kala son of Sarfuddin age 22 years across E sector drain was caught in E Sector Chandan Nagar Indore. Police also recovered four motorcycles from them.
On interrogation, the accused confessed to stealing motorcycles from police station Juni Indore, police station Chandan Nagar, police station Malharganj and police station Khudel area. The accused are being questioned in detail in relation to other vehicle theft incidents in the city.
