Rachakonda: Rachakonda Police conducted a Gender Sensitivity Awareness Program with the help of Bhumika Women’s Collective, a voluntary organization working in the area of violence against women and girls. The Program was held on 12.5.2022 at Rachakonda CP Camp office, LB Nagar with Police personnel of 44 Police stations and She Teams Police personnel.
Topics such as how to deal with women, Gender Discrimination, Patriarchal Ideology and thinking towards achieving Gender Equality, as well as explaining various women protection laws, listening to the issues of both communities and acting towards justice for the victims. Rachakonda She Team DCP, Mr. Venkateshwarlu, Bhumika Founder Mrs. Kondaveeti Satyavathi and Bhumika Director Mrs. Dr. Prashanthi have participated in this Program.
