<![CDATA[Hyderabad: An advocate in Hyderabad and his son have been booked for allegedly raping a Dalit girl, after which she got pregnant, police said today. The girl is around 14-15 years of age and worked at the office of Advocate M Sudhakar Reddy in Chaitanyapuri area in Hyderabad for the past few months. She alleged that Mr Reddy and his 30-year-old son Bharat Reddy raped her several times and assaulted her when she resisted. A city-based Child Rights Association rescued the girl from the advocate's son and a complaint was lodged at Chaitanyapuri police station yesterday. Following the complaint, a case was registered against the advocate and his son under Indian Penal Code (IPC) Section 376 (rape), and other provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and Sheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, senior police officer Tafseer Iqbal told Press Trust of India. The girl has been sent for medical examination, a senior police officer said, adding that they will soon arrest the accused, who are absconding. "We have found their location,efforts are on to nab them soon," Mr Iqbal said. He also said that investigation in this connection is underway, he said.]]>
