Delhi: The Delhi Police Department has honored Ms. Ishita Rathi with special commendation for her outstanding performance in the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examinations.
Police Commissioner Mr. Rakesh Asthana IPS on Thursday felicitated the parents working in the Delhi Police. In the video shared by the Police Department, Mr. Asthana can be seen sharing a photo of him interacting with her parents, including Ms Rati, who serves as ASI [Assistant Sub-Inspector] and Head Constable at the Police Department.
Ms. Ishita Rathi, “Daughter” of Delhi Police, secured 8th rank in UPSC Civil Services Examination (2021). Commissioner of Police Mr. Rakesh Asthana IPS today honored Ishita Rathi. Ishita’s parents work as ASIs and Head Constables in the Delhi Police. “We are proud of Ishita’s success,” Delhi Police Commissioner Mr. Rakesh Asthana told the Post.
The UPSC conducts an annual civil service examination to select officers for other important positions in the Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and Indian Administrative Service (IAS).
