Kolkata: ‘Utsarga’, the voluntary blood donation initiative of Kolkata Police. Blood donation camps were organized today by the Community Policing Wing, at two different locations of the city, Kasba Police Station and Beliaghata Traffic Guard. Police personnel from Kasba Police Station and Beliaghata Traffic Guard donated blood.
A total of 131 blood donors donated blood today. Honourable Commissioner of Kolkata Police, Mr. Vineet Kumar Goyel IPS met the donors and encouraged & thanked them for their participation in this noble cause. Going forward, such endeavors will continue to meet the increasing demand for blood.
