Andhra Pradesh: The state Police enforced strong vigilance at places where water flow is high, alerted and shifted people in low-lying areas to safe places. Efforts are made to clear fallen trees across the roads to regulate traffic and made arrangements for protection of people.
DGP Mr. K.V.Rajendranath Reddy IPS commended the Andhra Pradesh Police for their devotion towards duty, giving highest priority to the safety of public in times of emergency and rescuing the citizens, stranded in floods.
