Pauri Garhwal: In Kotdwar, Pauri Garhwal, children raised slogans of “No alms, need education” with Uttarakhand Police and the policemen persuaded the families of children who beg for alms and work in shops etc. to send them to school. This was done under the Operation Mukti project by the police.
