Dindigul, Tamil Nadu: In connection with a 2012 murder case in Thandikudi, Dindigul district, the local police arrested and imprisoned three men: Gnanasekaran (55) from Coimbatore, Shanmugasundaram (59) from Ulundurpet, and Sundaramurthy (61) from Tindivanam. The case was subsequently heard at the Additional District Fast Track Court in Palani. Following the efforts of Thandikudi Police Inspector Pandiammal, court bailiffs Sundarapandian and Thirukumaran, and the public prosecutor, the presiding judge, Malarvizhi, delivered a verdict today sentencing all three individuals to life imprisonment and imposing a fine of ₹40,000 on each of them.
