Bhopal: Under the guidance of Police Commissioner of Urban Bhopal Mr. Makrand Deuskar, Addl.Police Commissioner Mr. Sachin Atulkar and Deputy Commissioner of Police Zone-4 Mr. Vijay Khatri and under the leadership of Assistant Commissioner of Police Ms. Nishatpura Richa Jain, SHO Nishatpura Inspector Mr. Rupesh Dubey and his team have succeeded in arresting the vicious thieves.
On August 6, the complainant Rajesh Goenka had filed a report in the police station Nishatpura that on the night of August 5, some unknown thief had stolen the money and silver coins kept in the office cupboard to pay the freight of the vehicles. On the report, an offense was registered against the unknown accused and taken up for investigation.
During the investigation, after closely observing the scene and surrounding footage and making technical observations, a person who was wearing a face mask, broke the office window on 6.8.2022 at around 3.10 pm and entered the office. The person stole money and silver coins and a silver bowl from the cupboard in the office. On the basis of the footage received in the office and surrounding CCTV cameras, the photo of the accused was taken out and the photo was shown to the people and informers around the scene.
With the help of information and technical resources of informers, accused Rakesh Kahar alias Bablu Indori alias Shamsuddin son of Prahlad Kahar, age 55 years resident of M.N. 72. Ratan Colony Karod was arrested. During interrogation, the accused, along with one of his other associates, confessed to committing the crime. Police has also arrested 35 years old other accomplice, Halki Bhai Sen, son of Shibbu Sen, on the confession of the accused. Police have recovered one lakh 90 thousand rupees of theft in cash, 70 silver coins and company documents including a silver bowl from both the accused.
