Rachakonda: On Sunday, Rachakonda CP Mr. Mahesh Bhagwat IPS has inspected the Lord Ganesh idols immersion arrangements at Saroornagar lake. Since the immersion has been started across the Rachakonda limits, CP has directed the staff to provide all the required arrangements and stated that foolproof arrangements have been made by the Rachakonda police to support the devotees.
Speaking to the media, CP mentioned that the devotees should follow the instructions and approach the lakes and ponds which are notified by the GHMC and Police for immersion. CP has stated that the Police will work round the clock, till the immersion reach the last phase in the Rachakonda limits and reiterated that the devotees need to cooperate with the Police to complete the immersion peacefully.
Mr. Bala, DCP Road Safety and other officers of Rachakonda were also present during the inspection at Saroornagar lake. CP has also visited Jalpalli Lake of Pahadisheriff Police Station, Mantrala cheruvu of Meerpet, Nalla Cheruvu of Uppal and supervised 5th day immersion.
