In his address, Chief Minister Mr. Chouhan said that today is a wonderful opportunity to give out-of-turn promotion to police personnel. Our village and city are safe due to hard work in adverse conditions of these jawans. When we are celebrating Teej festival with family at our homes, our jawans are engaged in protecting us by risking their lives in the dense forests and mountains. The biggest role in this is played by the mothers and sisters of the families of our police and security forces. Due to the courage of these mothers and sisters, our jawans fulfill their responsibilities responsibly. For this, eight and a half crore people of the state are grateful to you.
Chief Minister Mr. Chouhan said that if heroes are not respected, then bravery will become barren. The government of Madhya Pradesh stands with the soldiers who maintain peace and law and order in the state. Don’t let them cause any trouble. When I came to Kanha Park in the month of June, I saw the soldiers doing duty in the dense forests in difficult conditions. Then after discussing with the soldiers, listened to their problems. After going to Bhopal, it was decided that 70 percent incentive allowance would be given to the Hawk Force jawans engaged in Naxal eradication as per the seventh pay scale. Our government is giving out-of-turn promotion to the jawans who put their lives at stake in the Naxal eradication campaign. Our government is also paying attention to the education of the children of jawans, treatment of diseases.
Chief Minister Mr. Chouhan said that the police and security forces have made Madhya Pradesh an island of peace. Earlier there was terror of dacoits, we ended them. SIMI network terminated. Those who escaped from Bhopal jail were killed shortly after. We are in favor of peace and do not want bloodshed. Pointing to the Naxalites, he said that our doors are always open for those who talk of peace. Walk with us for progress and development, stop deceiving the innocent people. Nothing will be gained by a shot of a gun. If anyone molests our people, our government will not spare him.
Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Mr. Narottam Mishra in his address on the occasion said that Balaghat district has been notorious for Naxal activities. Our police jawans have killed or imprisoned Naxalites with a reward of Rs.93 lakh. We call upon them to adopt peace, shun bloodshed and join the mainstream. If we know how to fight, we also know how to follow the path of Buddha’s peace. Our jawans have been successful in eradicating the dacoits to destroying the SIMI network. Wherever arrangements have to be made, police personnel are deployed there. But even after this our jawans never show their backs and do their work responsibly. Our soldiers have done a good job even during the Corona period.
