Mizoram: The Mizoram Police said, Beware of “Ransomware” – a type of malicious software that prevents victims from accessing their own system and/or personal files/data and demands ransom payment in order to regain access. – Make sure you do not click or download links from unknown sources. Be sure that your systems and antivirus software are always updated -Avoid unsafe pirated/cracked software. – Try to create secure backups of your data on a regular basis.
