Bhadradri Kothagudem: The Bhadradri Kothagudem District SP Dr. Vineeth G IPS held a review meeting with the IPS police officers today in the conference hall of the District SP office. On this occasion, the SP said that the quality of investigation should be conducted and a thorough investigation should be conducted in each case to ensure justice to the victims and punish the criminals. It is suggested that the progress of the cases should be reviewed from time to time while coordinating with the judicial officers for prompt resolution of the pending cases.
Later, he personally examined the files of the pending cases in all the police stations of the district. He asked the court to investigate the accused in POCSO cases as soon as possible and submit the relevant documents to them. He said that the performance of the district police officers and staff in the backdrop of the Godavari floods at Bhadrachalam is commendable. Special thanks were given to the officers and staff of the district for performing their duties tirelessly and preventing any untoward incident even during the Ganesh immersion celebrations. As part of the implementation of 5S, the police station surroundings should be kept clean.
He said that a special surveillance should be established on the people who supply intoxicants like drugs and strict action should be taken against them under the law. As part of the program, CCTV cameras will be installed in all parts of the district to explain the need to control and solve crimes. He asked people to be involved in establishing a police department. He asked them to catch the criminals using the technology currently being used in the police department, recover the property and bring justice to the accused. Later, the SP handed over certificates of appreciation to the officers and staff who showed talent as part of the verticals duties.
