Dindigul: Mr. Veerakumar (45) from Nandavanapatti, Dindigul district, has been working as head constable in Coimbatore district. When he passed away due to ill-health 4 months ago, the policemen who joined the service in 1997 (II-Batch) got together and raised a fund of Rs.12, 91,500/-. On 24.9.2022, Dindigul District Superintendent of Police Mr. V. Bhaskaran IPS presented a check of Rs.12,91,500/- to Mrs. Manimozhi, wife of deceased Mr. Veerakumar.
