CHENNAI: Top Police officers entered Golden Bay Resort today amidst talks of compulsion to produce AIADMK’s General Secretary Sasikala Natarajan in trial court in Bengaluru. Sasikala who had been convicted on Tuesday by the Supreme Court in a landmark judgement in the disproportionate wealth case filed in 1996 may not surrender today as her lawyers say that they have not received the copy of the court order, TV reports said today. Section 144 has been imposed in Koovathur area to avoid any untoward incident, TV reports said. Police sources said Jaya TV vehicles were being readied to take VK Sasikala from the resort at Kuvathur. No action was taken by the police forces that entered the resort. Sasikala is aware of the SC verdict, said sources.
