Trivandrum: The Kerala Police won the third position in the “Smart Use of Fingerprint Science in Investigation” competition conducted by the Central Fingerprint Bureau under the Ministry of Home Affairs. The award was given based on the expertise of fingerprint experts in proving the Alappuzha Venmani double murder case.
Fingerprint expert Mr. Ajitji and Tester Inspector Mr. Jayan.K received the award from National Crime Records Bureau Director Vivek Gogia at a ceremony held in New Delhi. The competitions were organized on the occasion of the 23rd National Conference of Fingerprint Bureau Directors.
