Indore : Keeping in view the interests of the weaker sections of the society, action is being taken by the Indore Police with sensitivity under the direction of Police Commissioner, Indore Mr. Harinarayanchari Mishra and various programs are also being organized continuously for this purpose. In this series, a one-day district level seminar/training on the sensitivity of the police officers towards the weaker sections of the society was organized by Police Station Ajak, District Indore on 15th December at the Police Office, Regal Chauraha Rani Sarai premises.
The seminar was inaugurated by Additional Commissioner of Police, Indore, Mr. Manish Kapuria, and while addressing the trainees, he said that the police should act keeping in mind the interests of the weaker sections. In the seminar, the trainees were told by the guest subject experts about the interests of the weaker sections of the society and the legal provisions in this regard. Under which by Mr. Pankaj Wadhwani High Court Indore Advocate said about the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, on judicial precedents and important points.
Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act 1989 by Deputy Director Prosecution and Poxon Act by Mrs. Sushila Rathore, ADPO Indore and various welfare schemes and relief scheme for the weaker sections of the government by Mr. Vishal Srivastava, Special Public Prosecutor District Court Indore Lecture / important information was provided to the trainees. In the training/seminar, in the presence of Additional Commissioner of Police (AJAK), Urban District, Indore Mr. Pramod Sonkar, station in-charge, AJAK Indore was present.
