Tirupati : As part of the National Road Safety Week Mahatsawal on the instructions of Mr. Parameshwara Reddy IPS, the traffic police organized a motorbike rally on 23.1.2023 from SV Arts College, Balaji Colony Gandhi Road to the four-legged mandapam municipal office to create public awareness on road safety traffic rules. The main intention of the traffic police and the road transport department is to educate the public and motorists about the traffic rules and the precautions to be taken to avoid road accidents. Tirupati Traffic Police Department and Tirupati District Road Transport Department jointly organized an awareness program on “National Road Safety Week-2023” on Monday evening from SV Arts College to Municipal Office.
He appealed to the people of Tirupati city, taxi auto drivers and motorists to be aware of the traffic rules and to follow the rules while driving the vehicles and wear helmets and seat belts. He said that everyone must know the traffic rules and follow the precautions to be taken to prevent road accidents and motorists should be safe. In this program Mr. K.Sitarami Reddy Tirupati District Transport Officer, Mr. C. Bhaskar Reddy Tirupati Traffic Inspector, Mr. Srinivasa Rao, Mrs. Kusuma, Motor Vehicle Inspectors, Tirupati Traffic SIs, Traffic Staff and Transport Department Staff participated.
