Under the ongoing campaign against drugs, Haryana Police has seized a huge consignment of banned medicines including more than 10,000 capsules, 75,000 tablets, 300 bottles of syrups and 100 injections and has arrested a person while he was carrying the contraband in a car in Yamunanagar district. The seized prohibited medicines were being supplied in the state from Uttar Pradesh. The arrested accused was identified as Amit Kumar, a resident of Barara in Ambala district. The accused has been booked under relevant sections and further investigation is underway.
